getting my front two windows done, just gunna do 15% that way if it ends up not matching it gives me a reason to go darker on the back later on, just wondering if it will mess the tint up if i drive around with it on (not rolling the windows down) as far as heating up from my heat inside the car and then getting cold from the 25degree temps we have right now after im done driving it
o and i was looking to get the strip across the front but when i had the remote start installed they put the reciever up where the black dots are behind the rear view, can that just be pulled off and re 3m'ed on or do i have to do anything special to put that back on as far as the tint goes
When I got mine done on my car it was summer and he had the car sitting in the sun for most of the day to cure the adhesive. The person tinting them should let you know what you can do...as for the receiver, I would think you should be able to re 3m it. Just my thoughts.
I agree, the tint shop should be able to recommend what you need to do in your particular climate. or, just call 'em and act like a new customer and ask what would happen to the tint in your scenario...i do it all the time to different shops just to get an unbiased opinion from them.
My old truck had tint on them, and never had any problem. Last year it got cold out, and I traveled at night. So my truck was hot inside, and the night air was real cold, and I didn't have a single problem with it.
yeah ill just ask him i was more worried about the reciever im worried he might pull one of those o i know what im doing with it and end up messing something up
