Default TSB Question

Ok we all know about the shaking problem with 06+ Rams. Mine did not have this problem until recently and I am well over the 36000 mile warranty. This TSB 02-001-07 REV. A is what I believe I need to have done. How much will I end up having to pay for this? Or, since there is a TSB is it something they have to fix? I have never had to take my truck into the dealer and this is my 3rd Ram! (1990,2001,2006).

I have read a lot of the postings on this already and it sounds like I'm in for a hell of a headache. The truck is going in to have the tires balanced to make sure thats not the problem, and I just did a brake job so I know its not the rotors.

Thanks

Just look and see if there is play in the rod ends or the wheel bearings

Thanks, I will. But does anyone know if this is something I will have to pay for, or is it covered?

Comes out of your pocket since you're out of warranty. If it was a recall then it would be on Dodge

Yep, it is just a recommended fix. You will have to pay with no warranty.

Many 5 star dealers have the authority to cover it under warranty if your just out of the warranty. I'd get the tires balanced first. They are gonna want to do a front end alignment too. Then they will start with everything that they might have to pay for. But only the 5 star dealers can absorb out of warrant costs for customers. Especially if you are a loyal customer or a return customer.
