If you cant buy a new truck and want the HP.....I would look into an engine swap....and if you cant do that...just look at the stuff you can buy off www.airram.com and go to town.....

but with the things you listed...you could possibly add 60 to 80 HP

1.) JBA shorty headers - 10 to 20 HP - haven't seen dyno's for this
2.) Borla exhuast single pipe. - 10 HP - any free flowing exhaust should do this
3.) Superchips tuner - 15 to 20 HP - depends on tuner/model/fuel setting
4.) H/O camshafts - 20 HP - i've heard that mopar's H/O cams will do this for the pre 08 models
5.) Aftermarket intake - 5 to 10 HP - most dyno's i've seen really add about 6-8 HP

Nick is in Balad and in about 4-5 weeks Im leaving to Taji. I plan to buy everything from him because he knows his stuff and from what I've seen he's a good guy. I want to buy everything after I come back on Sept 19th. I just want to make sure I have everything I need so when I get back its wam bam thank you mam. I just want to jump to 300- maybe a tad bit more hp from the 235 that comes with the truck...

wow our trucks are only 235. ive been trying to find out how much they're puttin out stock. wow thats bad. especially for the mpg I'm getting.

also id like to see a dyno before and after the work, because the numbers everyone is guessing seems a little high to me. but i guess our stock exhausts really are that restrictive.

they say the hemi puts out about 345..but the 2500 cause of parasidic losses threw the tranny really only makes like 250-280 at the rear wheels

you might wanna check on the cams, I don't know how the variable valve timing is affected by aftermarket cams, but since yours is an 08 it has 290hp and 320tq

The 08 4.7L is actually 310hp and 330lb/ft.

This is in the upper end, and wouldnt include labor but I think 65hp for all the mods is an estimate; I would also get rid of the restrictive y piping people talk about and maybe a new TB but I think 300hp is possible, any ideas or comments?
So you want your crank rating at the wheels? That's a good goal and definitely achievable for not a whole lot of money.

Stock you're probably putting down around 175rwhp. That's not all that great in a full sized pickup but it's still more than my old 92 silverado put down with a 350 TBI....but it had good torque and so does yours.
