Check with a local paint and body shop - it can't cost that much to paint two bumpers.

i know where im at, it a rip off. probaly will cost me $300, just to have the bumper painted. i went to get a quote on my car a few years back and the one shop started at 3 g's. i ended up getting it done for 1200 through a friend of a friend. if i do ever get around to any type of paint, i want to get all my chrome trim (mirror covers and door handles, so i'll probaly have to buy new handles cuz they will break coming off) painted to match.
