Default V8 Regular Cab MPG

What kinda mileage are you getting, city vs highway, for your half-ton V8 Reg Cab? 4.7 Magnum or 5.7 HEMI??

2004 reg cab 4x4 5.7 Hemi, tires 255/75R17 BFG Mud Terrians 3.55 gears and I get around 12 in the summer and 10 in the winter around town and don't do a lot of highway driving with it. I have way to much fun in the winter with it.

I had an 03 Hemi Reg Cab 4x4. It would get about 14 mpg city and 16 mpg highway.

06 2500 Reg cab 4x4 6sp hemi 373 lt slip

Up to 22 mpg highway ( summer 60 mph, 1800 rpm 6th gear ) any faster, mileage goes down...Fast

City just sucks gas, but I can 13 to 15 mpg.

I did add true dual ex, CAI and I have a topper.

You can't get a 6sp with the hemi in a 1500, but a 4.7 with a 6sp will beat any hemi auto with mds for highway mpg.

Quad cabs are heavy, reg cabs are lighter...

Rear axle ratios and driver habits really make or break MPG numbers.

16ish city if I keep her under 2000rpms, 23ish hwy...with MDS disabled and the 3.55 rear it only spins at 1950rpms going 75 which is awesome. I usually drive 65 though.
