Hell noI dont have'm on yet. It was damn near dark when I got off work, and although 20* weather ain't much to some of ya'll, but thats freezing to me, and I work outside in it (tree "specialist"). That being said, the last thing I felt like doing was spending more frustrating time out in the cold, trying to hold a flashlight and bracket and socket wrench.

I have an air compressor, with an air wrench (pneumatic socket wrench, whatever). Should I use this to force'er up in there? I imagine it would make life a little easier. Im gonna try it. Tomorrow fellas, pics will be posted.

I really appreciate all the help and interest. I woulda probably just put it off till this weekend, but your asking about it is gonna make me do it TOMORROW! Thanks again..

Well, I got'em on there. Once again, I made it harder then it should've been. Those directions from summit did suck bigtime. And, unless I did something wrong, they shorted me 2 washers. But, so far so good.

Took me about 1 1/2 hrs, which is about an hour too long. But, live-n-learn...

Once again, thanks for all the help. Im sure Ill need some more down the road

ok i install nerf bars professionally. those bushing they are talking about is that large washer. earlier models had rubber bushing but later models have that huge washer. well if your nerf bars did not come with bolts you have to beat the bolts off that big washer and then you will be able install the front and rear bracket. the washers are really tough to get off the bolt but will eventually come off. I always squeeze the washer in a sturdy vice then i take a sledge hamer and hit the bottom of the bolt. the common brand we put on at our shop is UWS (united welding service) and they always come with new bolts but i have had other brand bars to have none and this is what the directions say do. So i hope i helped out

Ohio-I fully agree, that wheel well is aweful. I just saw a link from Semi, $70 should be well worth the cleaned-up look of the wells.....

Badblack- I appreciate the info. The kit came with bolts, but said to re-use the steel plates and bushings...... We'll see what happens I guess, those huge washers are still on the original body bolts

To anyone who might know, when taking the body bolts out, about halfway through, I got some water almost pouring out. Not much, but enough to soak my hands. One in particular was dark black, with the consistency of oil. I would think this wouldnt be a good thing, 'cause that means that water is just sitting in there.... Normal or no?

The black bars look good on your truck. Maybe read up on some of the wheel painting posts and paint the center spokes and triangle portions of your stock wheels semi gloss black. Such a little touch would jump out nice on that. Especially with the color of your truck looking close to the machine finish look of the wheels.
