I guess i was off a bit on my estimate. I went to the garage to have a cig and started looking at all the things i added along with the prices...im closer to 7K into it.
It really makes no difference to me, i love my truck, want it to look a certain way and plan on keeping it for a long time anyway.

not counting the rims ive put in only about $1K. The rims were put on by the dealer and I basically got them for free. Im thinking that they are worth about $2.5K. Man, maybe I should ask how many 16 year olds got brand new trucks -InfernoRedHemi and SilverBullet08 I got mine when i was 16 too. its lucky having a dad who values a good truck and can help me afford one. There is no way a summer job at the local fast food restaurant can pay for a $20K+ trucks

I bought mine by myself and pay for the insurance, gas, and any other expense my truck has. I have been saving since I was very young.

When I was 7 years old I was cutting my parents grass with a push mower. Then the next year, when I was 8, I had a few customers. All the way up to now where I have 20+ customers (they have smaller yards). Still with all of these customers it is just me but I have upgraded to a 6x12 utility trailer, multiple weedeaters, pushmowers, 36'' Bunton walk behind (15hp V-Twin Kawasaki), and lots of other stuff. It doesn't stop there because I mulch, do garden work, and tons of other odd jobs. This landscaping deal is where most of my money came from but now I started working for a company 20+ hours after school and full time in the summer.

And I proudly make and spend my money. I don't get hand-out from my parents.

I love my truck!

All these teenagers are getting trucks? Man, I'm 26 and busting my *** to pay my bills. I could never have imagined having something this nice at 17 or 18. My first vehicle was a Ford f-150 regular cab with a 5.0 V8. It was regular cab, short bed, plain *** white, and had 108,000 miles on it when I bought it. I bought it all on my own and that was all I could afford while in college. It lasted almost one year to the day. It just decided to lose oil pressure... forever.

R.I.P. - you POS Ford.
