The thing about rental trucks
16? You won't even be able to rent a car until your 23. Even then you'll pay a much higher premium and get the run around from rental agencies until your 25. When you reach 25, you'll have not a problem in the world.
Credit cards are not a debt waiting to happen. It's all in self control. I think 95% of Americans that have credit cards have a balance at all times on their cards. It all starts out by paying it off every month and then gets dragged on for a few months. I don't let any card get past $2k and then I wipe the slate clean. They are a great way to earn credit and trust from lenders for first timer credit users. You just need to pay on time and never just pay the minimum payments. That's how they stay rich and you stay in debt. Say if your minimum payments are $47 per month. More than likely even on a good rate your paying $30 interest. At a high rate, you can be paying as much as 98% of the bill in interest by only doing monthly minimums

Well, right now I prefer to pay for things I have the money for. I hate spending money on foolish things, and like every purchase to be thought out and somewhat justifiable. I never want money problems, so I'm still just going to hold off before I get a credit card.
