Default K&N CAI Rattling

So I installed my K & N CAI on my 08 hemi a few weeks ago, and now when I'm idling I notice that it rattles quite a bit. Has anyone else noticed this? I think I have the brace bar in the right place, but it just seems loose. All the brackets are tightened, but it just doesnt seem on right. Its rattling in the hole of the heat shield. Any help would be great if you have had that happen and how you fixed it.

Also if there are any pictures on where the brace bar goes, just to make sure I have it in the right place.

You'll notice more noises with a CAI...you could be hearing resonation from the EGR. Check your CAI to make sure there's not anything obviously loose or hitting anything.

Mine will move within the hole in the shield but not enough to contact the sides, so no noise. Recheck the supports. If all is fine, get you some heat resistant foam and wrap the tube where it goes through the hole, should solve the problem...

Are you sure thats the cause of the rattle? If you cant move it id say thats not the problem. If you can move it, by seeing where it moves id say its easy to see where to tighten it up.

I have not had a problem with mine. If u think it is the tube hitting the heat shield you should put a piece of rubber their. Did this to my bros 300c and it worked.

where did you guys screw in the support member? for the life of me i couldnt figure it out from the picture. i screwed it into the front screw where i had taken off the hemi hat, seemed like the only place it would go.

you cant really see the whole support arm but it goes behind the tube.
