Question Odd Clicking noise when turning the wheel

I have an odd clicking noise that i hear and feel through the steering wheel when turning the steering wheel or hard braking and it does it everytime. Any suggestions??

The power steering fluid is good and it went to the dealership for the 1.3 hour oil change lol and they said everything was "good" on the sheet.

Im stumped...

You guys have been on it for almost anything wrong with my truck so I figure lol what the hell ask the all knowledgable vehicle masters at the Dodge Forum. Ill have em check on the ball joints at the GM dealership when I take it in again...

You like that LOL thing huh???

Why ask on a Dodge Forums in the truck section about a Buick car? WTF
Also, why not state it's on a Fwd car and not a Dodge truck as everyone thinks because that's the section they are in and also think of common problems for that particular vehicle.
Sounds like you have a CV shaft going bad!

Tie rods genrally clunk or cause a shimmy.
CV shafts create a clicking noise form the internal u-joints

I never said he couldn't post but c'mon, he threw a football to the pitcher!

I would say it is also the cv joint/shaft. Check to see if any of the rubber boots are ripped. When the boots run dry, damage soon follows.

guess it's just potatoes or potatoes? guess we should just ask if it clicks once when you turn and then once when you turn back, or is a constant click when the wheel is turned? I agree 100% it's cv if it keeps clicking with each rotation of the wheel.

yea, true, but apparently he seems to think we know what we're doing?

+1 on the cv shaft...had the same issue on one of my older cars, would only click when turning, and I want to say it clicked more when turning left versus right, but don't remember now.

not sure on the buick, but on my honda i had it changed in about 1 hr...piece of cake to do. you'll need a pickle fork or a decent pry bar to pop the half shaft out of the tranny. they have a snap ring that holds 'em in...doesn't take much leverage, but it was more than I could apply by simply pulling on the axle.
