How often does your Ram get a bath?
I try to do it every other week, maybe more in the summer. I wish I had a garage long enough to fit the thing in. Damn truck is 1 inch too long.
I only have 2,600 miles on the truck too. I drive it more in the summer: camper and pulling the boat.

mine is a DD, and I live on gravel, so I usually spray it whenever I feel it need it.
My washes are free since I started at the dealership last may.
Before that I could do the whole truck (with the soap brush) and wax for $5 (you gotta know how)

1. how do you guys have time to wash it more than once a week, i barely can squeeze in once a week and thats usually a quick 5 minute wash, 30 minutes for a good job.
2. Im no earth cruncher, but twice a week.. thats just a waste of water. its a truck now, not a ferrari. being in the construction field, i know theres people out there having all sorts of fancy systems installed to save water, and collect water out of down spots, decks, etc etc.
and btw hot water doesnt hurt the wax, most car washes use warm/hot water. and for the guy that waxes and polishes every 2 weeks, i dont think thats good for your paint. its recommended like 3 or 4 times a year. i personally do it something like every 2 months in the spring and summer, and once before winter.

I haven't yet, but we have a hotsy at work, and several of the guys pull their trucks in after or before hours to wash them up. The only thing is that I like to wax mine right after I wash it, so that's not good for me to let it sit overnight. But I'll do it about once every two months. I also have free $7 or $8 carwashes from the dealership I bought my truck from. It's about the worst car wash ever.
For me it just depends when the salt or dirt covers the truck; about once each 1.5 weeks or so.

they say theres only so much water here and once its used up its gone. just like oil. i never really bought into any of it, but shoot, the way i see it, whatever little bit i can do, y not?
I hand wash my truck once a week, no car washes for me. Each week it gets the spray on wax, then once every three months it gets a nice coat of paste wax. each oil change i get the carpets and interior cleaned. My wife hates it.
I am not sure I understand this. I might agree there is only so much water, but it is naturally being recycled every day...rain. Am I missing something?
