Default Pro Comp vs. TGC Leveling Kit

So, I have been looking at the TGC leveling kit for some time now. Last night, I was using the search function (yes, i just said search) to find info on bakes that I have to change this weekend and found out that the pro comp leveling kit is better because it has the stock shock extenders instead of over extending the stockers. the pro comp is a little more, but to me it just sound better. what do you all think?

Nickahern did you put the leveling kit on yourself or did you have it installed, and did you have to have it aligned when you were done. They have a 2 inch and a 2.5 did the 2.5 level it perfect?

its overkill to get new shocks if you dont already need new ones. they do not extend all that much more.

i got the 2.5 tgc kit. installed myself in a few hours. its very easy. then got an alignment right after i was done. at first the 2.5 was a little too high in front then it settled and its now perfect. if you have decent mechanical and car knowhow you can do this yourself and save the money you were goign to spend to have someone else do it. to make it even easier have a buddy help you. it shouldnt take more than 3 hours to do the install. the directions that come are pretty good. the only thing you need to knwo is watch out for the brake lines/speedo sensor on driver side when lowering and taking out strut assembly as you dont want to break it or stretch it too far. good luck if you need any help let me know. i can guide you through it without even seeing what your doing haha. its that easy.

for your 06-08 1500 4x4s get the steel spacers not the daystar or similar spring spacers. the spring spacers arent as fun to install because you need to rent a spring compressor and take apart the strut assembly to install. with the steel spacers you dont need the spring compressor at all, the whole strut assembly comes out as one peice and then goes right back in. im not sure for you 02-05 guys. not familar with your setups i know they are torsion bars and you can crank them up for free or get torsion keys.
