I have 2800watt JBL Crwon amp to those subs. They are as loud as most 12's. No vibrations on the *** cushion. Just the usual bassy feel in the air.
I built my box as low as possible so that the sub wouldn't even touch the underside of the seats. I spec'd out the grills so they push the underside up a little, but not they will not rip the seat and they have plenty of room for the sub excursion as many box's don't allow that between the sub and seat.
As stated in my origional post. I paid $33 shipped and I designed them

The seat sits on both bars very evenly which was hard to determine what the proper length was. I designed the grills and the guy made them for me. They only cost $33 shipped! Super cheap. Here's the guy that built per my specs http://myworld.ebay.com/affordable_quality_audio Now, you may have totally diff measurements and they did take him about 3weeks to make? Anyway, here's what I cam up with!
are your seats lifted or something? those are pretty tall grills you got, plus the thickness of the box. i didn't think there was that much room under there. looks really good though, cept for the carpet not matching
