The superships tuner claims big gains for the 5.9...something around 50hp (not sure if it's rwhp or bhp though). A good catback will do ya some good and turn heads at the same time...I recommend any straight-through muffler.

Flywheel HP. But even if you figure on a 25% drivetrain loss, that's still 37hp to the wheels.

Headers, cam and some port work on the heads will help alot.
4.56 gears will help get all of that weight moving!!

aftermarket exhaust, headers, 1.7 rr adjustables so you can get a bigger cam and some 4:10's or 56 gears and good tuner are a few.

look at my signature. superchip and 1.7 harland sharp rockers have netted me the most on the butt dyno.

i really like my superchip. it has netted me the most. but if you plan on doing alot of mods i would check into the sct programmer. it costs a little more, but it is a custum tune that will pull all your modifications together for the best results.

i have tried the hypertech max energy, jet stage 2 chip, and the superchip 3815. and soon to be the sct. but the superchip was the best out of the 3 that i have tried.

donnt expect the 46 hp claimed though.i know i didnt get that much. but it was a good kick in the but.lol some people feel a little better results because they have a death flash. death flash is a computer program from the dealer which retards the timing like 4 degrees. they do that because these motors are known to blow the plenum gasket.

one more thing, if you are looking for performance mods look in the 2nd gen. there will be alot more info for you there.
