need help
Maybe it's a loose wire on the connector. Everytime you put a new sensor in, you could be pushing the wires for better ontact and then after some driving, they vibrate loose??? Just a thought.
woo! that's a new one on me, not uncommon for a cam sensor to go, but replacing it generally is the fix.
So, I guess I'll just a stab at it by logically looking at the other components that could effect a cam sensor.
I'd start with wiring and connectors, visually inspect for cracks, splits, breaks or anything that may look suspicious. Test the circuit wiring for continuity.
Since the cam sensor "talks" to both the PCM and the crankshaft position sensor, visually inspecing there wiring and testing them for continuity would probably be a good idea as well.
Although unlikely a fault with the crank sensor or the PCM itself could also effect your cam sensor.
I'm not sure if this helps, but like I say, it's kinda taking everything along the line that would directly effect your cam sensor...
