I am planning on a jacuzzi coversion for my bed... if i can do it ill let you all know... tell me that isnt the best idea ever ...chicks will dig it for sure.... i got the idea from a chevy silverado at the silverlake sand dunes he filled his with hot water lol but he dont have no jets... figures damn chevy... eat ur heart out bret favre

 

That's been done in a Stretch Hummer Limo. it was in a magnazine a few years ago. There were several problems. The suspension had to be so beefed up it was ridiculous. Water is very heavy. Another is simply driving, taking off was a PIA and then you couldn't stop fast if you wanted to because the wave of water that rushes to the front of the bed will push the truck. Taking turns is impossible because all the water will splash over the sides unless you go really slow which is more than likely needed because again the water is SO HEAVY. Do you think you can take sand bags and fill your entire bed of your truck up? Your bumper would be on the ground. Water is that heeavy. Then you have to account for the parts themselves are heavy and how many people can get back there? Figure 160#'s average person (smaller women/larger men average). You's get 4 people back there and easily add 640#'s.
It would be pretty neat, but it's not reality

 

Now, what would be kinda cool and very Redneck'ish is making a jacuzzi out of your bed...lol......lol...hehehehee No, I mean taking your bed off your truck and laying it on a slab of concrete and build inside the bed a jacuzzi for the back yard.....aaahahahahaaaaa

yeah its cool not practical.

 

actually it could be done quite easy you would just have to drain if for driving then fill it again once you got where you wanted it. and wait for the water to get hot. then use a power inverter to run the pumps and the exahaust to heat the water. 4 air bags or hydrolics to goto the ground to take the weight off the suspension. A nice 2 person portable hot tub. that would get you laid for sure.

Put a big sheet of plastic/tarp in the bed, fill with water, take a pipe from the exhaust and stick it in the water for bubbles. bam, instant redneck jacuzzi

of course even 1 foot of water in the bed will literally weigh over a ton...but that's details
