It is tapered its starts at 85mm and tapers down to 80mm at the butterfly.

The most that can be done is taper the opening. The butterfly plate has to close. If more material was taken out, a new, bigger buterfly plate would need to be used.

I did this on my mustang T/B. The only thing it added was touchiness to the gas pedal. If the oening is say 75mm, only 75mm of air can squeeze through that hole. Tapering both sides doesn't allow more air to go through. Tapering helps the initial throttle respone and that's it.

A bigger T/B is the only way to gain hp. Even then, the engine must want the airflow. Some cars only gain minimal on T/B swaps and others can gain 20hp like S/C'ed engines.

I have another tb here think i will just have it worked on . Has any seen how far they can go with it +90 ?

I am jealous, I want one of those tb's. The guys that already have them have been reporting good results with these ported tb's.
