Hey guys, I JUST became a new member of this site, I just bought a used 04 ram 1500 quad cab. My first vehical i have ever purchased. I want to put a sub and amp in it, but i wanna remove the smaller back seat to do so because i want to be loud lol. if any one has done this i would like to see pics of there setup. thanx.

Wellcom to DF. Theres alot of guys who have don sub's under their back seat's with 10" n 12" sub's. just do a few searches and you will find them.

ive looked into the sub boxes under the seat and they dont sound as good because of the lack of air the subs get. thats why im looking at taking out the back seat.

thats true.. havnt heard of anyone taking out the back seat, although ive heard of people raising the back seat up to fit custom made sub boxs under there.. try searching this forum.

welcome to the forum, hope ya find all sorts of useful information........i've done a system in these trucks 2 different ways now...first way was i removed the rear seats so i could fit a custom made box in the back for 2 15" DD subs (was great when i was 18, but not so great now) and currently i have the sub box under the rear seats with the amp mounted under the passenger seat (running 2 Kicker CVR12" with a Concept 1200 Class D amp) and i think it sounds great...more then enough bass for me
