and was way cheaper at wal*mart
Neat tool but that wont solve his problem. He explained it to be, between the wall of the lug ports on the rims and the lug nuts themselves, there isnt the room for a socket to actually fit in there to tighten the lugs. My rims wont work with regular lugs either. There isnt enough space to insert the socket. Thats where the spline style lug comes in.

Thats the whole point of the spline...when you NEED to remove them, flat or replacing tires...if they were on for a prolonged time, you will break that thin wall socket and be screwed. Good luck with that. Ive seen it happen before and its a nightmare to get around.

Im not really sure. I assume youd have to order 1 but dont hold me to that. I simply keep mine in my glovebox so i always know where it is and its always in the truck.

Thats what they are made for. If you look at the pattern on the lugs, they are intented. Thats the type of lug i had to go with. I had the same issue on my rims as you are seeing with yours. Its the solution to your problem...a safe 1. I ordered mine for 36 bucks shipped about 1.5 years ago. Got em less than a week. Return the lugs you bought and use the $ for the spline type.
Get ahold of this guy info@wheeldiscounters.com his name is Andy. Tell him your year ram and you need the spline style lug.
