you can get oem replacement fogs onebay all day long for under $50 each.
each dealer charges what they want for parts even if you find it cheaper online. thats how they make money. you can get the entire kit with harness and switch for $120-$130 on ebay.
also if the dealer told you mds came out in 08 they are on crack. it came out in 2006 for 1500 HEMI models only. also 1500.2500 megacab do not have mds. 4.7l does not have mds either. that dealer sounds like they just didnt know $hit

MDS wasn't available at all 'til '06. My 300C has it. Me likee.

you dont hear to many peopel liking the MDS. most people get a programmer and disable it. i know i wouldnt like it at all. i want all v8 all the time.

I don't think I'd mind MDS on a charger or 300c, but it has no business on a Ram. Just my $0.02

It sure seems to help on my C. Baton Rouge to Tallahassee in 6:15, almost 22 mpg.
