Has any one had to fix their driver's door? ('97 1500). The metal split below the latch about 4", it won't line up with the pin.. finally got it shut and don't want to take the chance of opening it again, crawling thru is a pain in the !@#.

 

id call some salvage yards might even be able to get ur color never know..... 97 is a 2nd gen ram homey wrong area

 

Sorry I ended up in the wrong spot, will post it in the 2nd gen. Thank you for letting me know I goofed. I checked all the salvage yards, no one has one locally that isn't all rusted and more work, although might have to fix the rust to get one that closes. Afraid the metal is too thin to weld.
