Part on "national backorder" - HELP
i called 4 dealerships in my area. they all took my information and said they would call me back within a few hours so they can track the pars down. i told them to look nationally and not just in the area. so hopefully i get a call back and can help you out on this. i kno who wmuch it sucks to wait for the dealerships to get $**** done. my tranny was replaced at 4000 miles and it took almost 3 months. got the truck back had same problem and they found out it wasnt the tranny it was the speed control sensor the whole time ( glad they replaced the tranny though cause iw as having alot of problems with it anyways and the new one is perfect even after 46000)
that woulda be me my friend...the dealer only did a search of the local area...like within 100 miles so i told em to search again except in a larger search area and whatd ya know, they found one like 140 miles away, so thats why im sayin to tell them to search the nation cause i know there is a dealer somewhere that has what your lookin for
hey didnt hear back from any of the dealers and it is just about closing time. ill try again tommorow. One of the parts gusy said he might not be able to get back to me today anyways. they work pretty damn slow.
I started with that last Friday - haven't heard back from anyone yet. And on top of this, Chrysler would only cover the rental for 5 days so I have been a PIA to everyone getting a ride. Things can only get better - thanks to everyone for all the ideas!
No, that's not what I meant, one of my fellow moderators on here goes by the name "Parts/Service" and is a just that, the manager at a dealership...
I've not seen him on in a few days, I'll hunt down some contact info for him, give me a couple...
Here you go, his name is David Wooten, Parts & Service Manager at James O'Neal Dodge; Bremen, GA. Email is: www.onealdodge.com Phone #: 1-800-663-2522...
Call him, tell him you're a member here and your dilemma...
