Aftermarket Radio???
I'm thinking on buying a new radio for my '08 1500 Quad Cab.
I don't think the stock one is loud enough for me, especially during the summer with all the windows down (and the rear slider open) cruzin' down the highway.
I'm thinking about getting one with DVD, maybe even one with navigation.
I looked on Crutchfield's website, but they only give you one Dual and a Kenwood.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

the reason you don't blow the factory speakers is becasue they are any where from 8-12 ohm and it takes a hell of alot of power to blow them. I use to use Kraco speakers and could run them with twice the power they were rated for and never had a problem. as far as blowing speakers, power don't blow speakers distortion does and that comes from over driving an amplifer. a correctly tuned system should not have to be turned more than half way up if you want it louder get bigger amps once you go half way up with the volume **** you start over driving the amp and creating distotion.
