Default Roll pan or new bumper?

I bought my truck used from a guy about a month ago and have been fixing it up. I need to replace the rear bumper with either a roll pan or another bumper b/c the previous owner messed it up. I use my truck for construction work and pleasure, and plan on having the bumper or roll pan sprayed with line-x when I get my bedliner. Which should I get?

The roll pan is typically cheaper, but I'm not sure how much body work I might have to do with one. Plus you have to get one with a lighted license plate holder or buy the holder separate, so that adds to the cost. I can get a chrome bumper off ebay for like 300 including shipping, so that may be where I end up just to avoid the hassle of a rollpan.

Update: I just went with a chrome bumper off ebay, not sure how it will look on my truck with no other chrome.
