I remember a thread where someone placed it where the cupholders are. Maybe you can stick it there as well. I would also consider under your driver's seat and have the walky-talky part hooked somewhere near your radio. Maybe the wire would be long enough for that and to reach your face as well. I hope that helped somewhat.

You would want it somewhere you can see it and reach it while youre driving...depending on what kind you have. I have a cobra 29WXNW and cant find a good enough spot yet for it...

I have a small Cobra CB, but not like yhike mentioned, mine is just a smaller standard box unit. Its a 19DX III; I think. I have it mounted on a 'Seat Bolt" flex mount off of the Drivers seat and positioned between the drop down cup holders and center front seat area. It works, but isn't an absolutely solid mount and might not be good for a heavier unit.

You can find a similar flex mount if you search for Arkon mounts; though several other companies offer equivalent mounts. You might also check out the following site and then search for "CB Mounts".

He has two plate mounts that mount under and forward of the center seat/console area. I am considering upgrading to one of these two; either the wide or narrow styles.

Here is the link:

Good luck, this is not a simple task in these newer Rams!

I don't know what the dash is like on your '04, but for my '06 I got a Cobra 18, which has a front-firing speaker. I was able to mount it in one of the open spaces in my dash underneath the factory radio.

Like yhike, I have the Cobra 75 in my Jeep, and it works pretty well also. I got an external speaker for it though, because the internal one isn't so great.

What is the advantage of having a cb just to mess around with?
