Default pa body lift

can someone confirm if this is the right body lift for my truck? it says its for 03-05,but mine is a 02 3rd gen. and pa doesnt have a listing for my year on there site. i kinda figure this is the right one. got my new rims, getting my new tires this week so this is gonna be needed real soon.

i see the kits come with everything.(steering ext, bumper brackets, all bolts and hardware) what happens to the gas fueler neck?

any helpful tips on install?or any problems anyones had?

Body would be the same, but of course the engine changed in '03. Call PA, just to be sure. Also I have a link to the step by step install instructions for this kit in the DIY section. Do a quick search there...

Mines an 03 QC. No probs. They give you an extension for the gas neck.

thanks guys. man that looks like alot of work. alot more than what i was thinking. since it involves that much work. i am gonna just start checking into a suspension lift. i mean i know its more money, but if the truck is gonna be down for a couple days. think i should probably just do the susp. probably have it done by a shop anyway.... i love "turn key" stuff.lol.

anyone have any susp. lift kit sugestions? good price or what they think is a good one.

What the hell boy? You think you were just gonna go out with a screwdriver and put a body lift on?

Read the Lift Kit 101 sticky in the "Off Road" section. It'll give you the differences between the two, pluses and minuses of each.

A decent suspension lift will cost you about $1500 without shocks which is about four times the cost of a body lift kit. I've installed about half a dozen body lifts and just the one suspension lift that is on my truck right now. Day and night difference.
But as far as labor goes, I think you'd end up paying close to the same. The body lift has a some fabrication that needs to be done, where the suspension lift is pretty much just removing and adding/replacing components. But there are a LOT more of them.

no offense taken. i laughed when i read it too. its all good.

i just never relized how much work there was in a body lift. just thought it was a little simpler.
