Default Tow Mirrors - Install Process help

Well I purchased some new tow mirrors (OEM) earlier this week they will be here tomorrow, wondered for those that have done this if there are any how-to's or suggestions on the best way to install. I'm assuming since they are OEM there won't be any instructions since they really aren't an add-on but a factory option?

It should be pretty straight forward. I changed regular mirrors to towing on my '07 1500.

There are a couple of screws on the inside of the door near the mirror, one or two on/under the door latch handle and maybe two more at the bottom. I did this a long time ago, so... memory is soft.

The biggest surprise I had was the instructions said to use a door tool to pop the door panel off. There are no "pins", you just have to lift up and out. There is a small plug/connector near the mirror and the door panel can be moved out of the way.

There are another couple of screws holding the mirror itself on. Remove them while supporting the mirror and then install the new ones. Reverse the other steps to finish up.

Very simple install. Remove 1 phillips head screw behind door handle and 2 at very bottom of door panel. Use a 10 mm socket to remove door handle. Lift up on panel to remove. # 10 mm nuts hold mirror to door. Unplug the wire going to the mirror. Look closely at the white plug on the mirror and you will see 2 tabs that still hold the mirror to the door, needle nose pliers will help you squeeze the tabs and the mirror is off.
