there was a little bit of a change in the sound of the exhaust. there was a little difference when getting on the throttle as far as throttle response. i wouldnt say it added any hp/tq just freed up the flow and made it alot better. cant wait to get headers.

I agree - I did notice a little difference but not drastic. Just knowing it's there makes me feel all fuzzy inside! LOLOL just kidding....

But why choke it down? I can't wait to get some 4.10 gears now....

anyone have one of these to replace stock, then once after the last O2 to go into duals
got a deal on two single in single outs, was thinkin about replacin stock Y pipe, then runnin a second Y pipe after the stock cat and O2 sensor section into seperate mufflers
can i use 2 2.5 inch in 3" out Y pipes?

haha, my bad, made that more confusing that it should have been
ok, i'm trying to pinch some pennies and keep the stock cat and O2 sensor section that comes after the stock Y pipe, after that, i'd like the split out into two piupes, and run each pipe into a seperate muffler (i got a deal on two single in single out mufflers)
so the exhaust will go into a new Y pipe, into stock cat, Y out into new pipes running into their own mufflers and out the back
so from the block=>stock manifold=>stock downpipes=>new Y pipe=> stock cat and O2 section -> new Y pipe splitting it into two pipes = >and two seperate mufflers=>out the back
so basically it'd be true duals except for the stock section where the cat and O2 sensors are

even better question, is that stock section even efficient enough for those new sections to benefit from it?

hope that all made sense

Sounds almost like you are wanting to make your own x pipe by stickin 2 y's together...

=>--<=

Kinda like that.... Not a good idea...

You should actually have 2 cats, one for each manifold, and it should go:

manifold => down pipe => Front O2 => Cat => Rear O2 => (same on opposite side) => Y pipe => Resonator (if you still have one) => Muffler => Tail Pipe

kinda sorta, but instead, i'm keep all the stock cats and everything, the only non stock is i'm replacing the crappy stock y pipe with a high flow
then, after the cats and everything, i'm using another Y pipe in the opposite direct to split the exhaust into duals, one muffler each side, and then out the back
so stock through the cats except Y pipe section
then post cats, Y Pipe splitting the exhaust into two mufflers and exit
