yep insurance paid, they gave me more than i was expecting, but i guess they give you what it would cost to replace through the dealer so we all know everything is overpriced through the dealer. I mean it was a bonus that i could just take the money and get nicer rims, i never expected to, so thats why the jokes on the thieves, lol

 

My wife went to Wayne State University and she said it was a daily thing that cars were being broken into and/or vandalized in the parking structures. They eventually started putting up cameras everywhere and had a guard at the entrances and exits. It was something like from Jan 2008 to May 2008 about 130 vehicles were stolen. Mostly Jeeps.

 

+1, you should have just accepted the $80 loss. now that the campus cops have been to talk to her, i wouldn't be surprised if next time the damage is much worse.
