Default Sludge

2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7L

I had a blown head gasket and now my engine is full of sludge.
I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this or if an engine rebuild would be the only way and if so how much should this cost me...

Run the hell out of it so the oil in there can melt away the sludge, sludge build up is common problem with vehicles with oil coolers cause most people never run the engine hard enough to heat the oil up

Ditto that. Lotsa high-detergent oil, changed often for a while. Run it long enough to vaporize the condensation.
