I've had to retrain myself to keep my right foot well away from the accelerator before I key the ignition or the engine will rev excessively, I don't recall my Fords doing that. I still am not impressed with the light cast by my high beams. Most of the time I just stick with the low beams and fogs. The thing I hate the most is that truck payment though!

 

I have bad freeway hop on the whole driverside...and only the driverside. Haven't been able to pinpoint the cause yet. Other then that I can live with the crappy build quality....oh yea I have a tranny leak now with 13k on her.

 

I got three...

1) Wind noise at drivers door
2) Radio isn't loud enough
3) Squeaky brake pedal

 

Truck is not level and crappy fuel economy from a V6. A leveling kit and better stereo will probably fix half of my problems.

 

since we're making a list, the front end wear issue is probably second on my list. the high beams do suck, and the shift points seem stupid. but i just stick her in tow/haul, and she runs fine for the most part. tirehop when taking off in a bit of a hurry is another one.

if you guys are going to complain about squeaks and rattles, i could fill up half a page with that.

 

Grease it or bring it in under warranty. Mine used to squeak too and the dealer lubed it...problem fixed.

I love my truck. The only thing I might change about it is the motor.

But, there is one thing that REALLY REALLY bothers me, and ya'll have touched on it already. That damn son-of-a-bitchin transmission shifts into 5th gear waaay to early. 20mph, goin uphill, and it wants to upshift? Then, go to give a little pedal to downshift, and it drops 2 gears, shooting the rpms up, making it sound like Im racing it through the neighborhood, at 6-7am. Very annoying.....

Otherwise, Im extremely pleased with the truck. Ive never owned anything close to the caliber truck that it is. Ive never been "brand loyal", and if so, it was directed towards Fords. But, Im def happy with what I got....

 

For me its the Hemi "tick" and the damn 1.5'' head unit din
