Default Wheel/Tire Opinion wanted

Hey guys,
I was thinking of buying these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-In...mZ370153500962

Putting some 32" tires on em and selling off the stock Chrome 20's w/tires at about 20% wear, off my truck. My hope was to was to come out only a small amount out of pocket.

What do you think?

I priced 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler right at $1000.

**Edit I acutally found a company that is willing to do all 4 wheels and Tires for 1650.00 after taxes and everything, What do ya think?

I think you'll only get $7-$800 at most for your wheels/tires. Especially if they have the Wrangler HP's on them.
Also, your factory 20's are 33" tall. You'll be losing an inch by getting 32" tall tires.
I like the wheels, as covered before Nitto's have proven themselves to get far less asphalt miles than other tires. I think BF's are overpriced, but when you compare longevity to price, BF will come out over Nitto.

Just be prepared for sloppier handling as the 17's wil have a bit more sidewall than the stock 20's. Although the Wranglers are pretty squishy to begin with????

The guy I talked to on the phone said that the Nittos were actually 32 and 1/2"s, So I would be losin 1/2". He also said they were 80K mile tires.

If Nitto's aren't that great, What tire would you reccomend. I do not do much offroading, But do do some. Also I do haul some slightly heavy loads and light towing from time to time.

Also Will I have issues with the backspacing on that Wheel?

Part of the reason I want to swap wheels and tires, Besides look, Is I am hoping for a touch softer ride. Am I wrong to hope for that? What size would you recommend for the tire on that wheel?

**Edit**
I would go for something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...em360124190573

But I am worried about pavement traction and gas mileage. Also folks would it make a difference if I went with an 18" wheel instead? Oh so many options all so confusing....

Nitto's are NOT 80k mile tires!! I run 295-70-17 Nitto's on 17x9 Helo's on my truck and really like them, you can run 295's and actually be a little taller than stock 20's. I am very happy with my tires but I do not believe there is anyway to get 80k out of them.

I don't understand something. If Nitto's don't last as long as other tires, Why are they so popular based over something like a goodyear?

**EDIT**

Here we go, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...em220288838569

I can buy these, Sell my current wheels for 600 bucks give or take, and only be out about $900 give or take a few bucks.

performance is great in sloppy conditions granted i only put on 7-8 hundred miles a year on the ram ( huntin truck) but with some upgrades to the engin it pulls themm like stock.
mpg's are down due to the weight but mostly mpg decline was when i lifted the front

I think 18's with some meaty tires would look really good. I like those rims. Those tires are running about $900set The 325/60/18 Nittos. That leaves the rims at costing $650 if you figure in shipping/mounting..etc
If you sell your wheels at $700, your $850 out of pocket for tires. My coopers ran me $700 just for tires. You would be getting new wheels too for only $150 more than what I payed for just tires. That's if you get $700 for your stockers. I wouldn't see why you couldn't? I got $400 for just the tires. Rims are going about $150 each
