Default V6 downside

I'm sure all of you know that when a dual exhaust is mated to a sixer, mixed reviews may arise. My Ram has the Flowmaster 40 series and I would recommend it without delay. But, it sounds very nasal-y (dont know how else to explain it) at higher RPM but sounds like an eight at cruising and idle. I was wondering if there is anyway to reduce this whine-y sound? Wanted to bring my question to the ram peeps! Just a thought.

Yeah a supercharger is #1 on my most wanted list. Does anyone even make a supercharger for the 3.7?

Default same here

I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my V-6 but using the 50 series. But what about mpg? Did anyone notice a difference at all?

hmmm from my expeirence flowmasters are more raspy. there a higher pitch raspy noise than a magnaflow.. i have a magnaflow on my truck with a straight pipe exhaust out and its sounds deep and bawlsy.. IMO Flowmaster is only good for v8s if u want a high rattling raspy sound, the magnaflow is a deeper tone and sounds great..
