Default 456 gears.........

After doing a little research iv decided im going to step up my game and join the 456 gear club LOL. I like my 410's but i think im going to edge out a little more performance with the 456's/ manual nv3500 tranny. Oh and i cant forget i ordered a hurst short throw shifter for a dakota that im going to make work in my ram. What do you guys think? Ill keep you all posted.

I drive 85 mph 55 miles each way to work every day with 4:56 gears no problem.

You will notice a difference with the 4:56 gears but not as much as if you were going from 3:92 to 4:56.

Keep up posted with the throw shifter.

+ 1 let us know about the new shifter. I want one but I have the G238.

dabig47 I think you just gotta go to the track and find out. Airram's truck does a 9.49 I believe so a stock truck maybe 10.50 or 11?

Everyone who already has 4.56's, do you like them and what did you go from. i currently have 3.92's and need to go to 4.56's, but what brand should I go with and where did you get them.
