Default opinions please

guys you all know i want black rims welll news to ya cant afford them so opinoins on painting my 20 clads black i want to di ot baddly but i dont know how hard it will be so give me your opinions

I wouldn't do it. I'd actually keep the chrome clad's because they look really good on your truck. In my opinion, trucks with bigger tires shouldn't have black rims. It just doesn't look all that great to me. I like the chrome look on lifted trucks way better!

Personally, I like black on a red truck, I started to go that way and changed mid stream, but it would have been a LOT cheaper for me to continue that way.
I'd have to say wait till you can afford black ones. I don't know how that plastisized chrome would take to paint...

I agree with hammer, you should prolly wait until you can get a set of new black wheels, not sure if id like the older style 20's painted black, the new ones yes, but not the older ones. nice truck btw, ill try to remember you for april totm!

Id wait also, those older "daisy" style wheels stink IMO. Since your sort of hanging with the offroad look, id invest in some 17's.

thaught about 17's but i just got the 20'nittos and dont really want to buy new tires i want rockstars sooooo bad wonder what i can get for my rims

thats a prob i only put about 7 - 800 miles on the ram a year they might last some time lol
