adjusting shift points????

Default adjusting shift points????

so what do yall think about adusting the shift points in the 4 speed auto.... even if it can only go 85 or 90 maxed out..... just wondering and kinda stumped would this even help acceleration? i cant find anything on the internet

How would you go about doing it? I think the jet chips alter the sift points slightly so it revs a little higher before shifting. I have a chip but mine is a manual so I can't say from experience, but I think derrick said they change the shifting a little.

one of my best friends work at the dodge dealership.... he said you can adjust almost everything in these new truck with a computer.

go to a tune shop.

you'd actually get better acceleration if u had it shift sooner...lol...cause the truck didn't do much acceleration in the last few seconds of seond gear at wot.

It sounds like your friend would be the best person to talk to about it, and if he can do it you could always experiment with different shift points.

get a shift kit. shift kit/torque converter and maybe an alumunum driveshaft are in my next pile of things to do to truck.
