no kit. go get some wire, get a phillips screwdriver, basic electric tools (stripper, maybe shrink fit tube), pick out a button and the right washers, then go look up hemiyellow's DIY that OHIO should be putting up soon.

I wouldnt suggest hacking into the factory wiring harness, I know, i Know push button starts make you feel like a bad ***, especially with some passengers in the truck,

Hell, I might even advise you to crawl underneath the truck with a screwdriver to jump the starter, Then no one could steal your truck, unless they drug it away

Reminds me of the good old days, crawling underneath the old chevy to beat on the starter cause it had a dead spot

cuz other's don't know its a push button start. only cost me $8 to do, and it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling that when the teenage ******* running to jump into my truck at the dealership or valet to bring it to me can't figure out how to turn it on. that way i don't have to run behind him to keep him from driving it...

The only way this would be really kool is to set it up liek the BMWs do now. All you have to do is have the key in the car and not in the slot but just sitting in your pocket and it will start when you push the button. But at the same time all it would take is someone to hack the rf code that is be transmitted from your remote to steal your car.

you wouldn't believe how easy it is...it's 1 wire. took me longer to figure out how to pull the cig lighter out than it did to wire it.

and i didn't do it cuz "it's cool". hell, i even got a regular black button from radioshack to put in it. i did it so people that shouldn't be starting my truck can't start my truck.

yeah you never know when they might take your truck for a joy ride
at least now your truck will stay in the place you want it the whole time.
i remember taking my truck to the dealer to get an oil change and when i came back 1/8 tank of gas was gone but my miles was the same. you dont need to leave the truck on the whole time just to just to change the oil
