this thread is too confusing, too much 'this then that then will this..."
here's what you want to know:
I have a push button start. I have a remote start. They do not interfere with each other at all. Both are fully functional.
Thank you. That is all that I was asking for. Would they interfere with each other.
And I've had a "push button start" before, and I liked it. It really kept people from taking my truck. But it wasn't on the same principle. But, I'll explain.
My old truck was a 5 spd. It had a button that was useless until you needed it. What it was, was a clutch start cancel. Meaning you don't have to press on the clutch to start. Pointless, unless if your clutch sensor goes out on it, like mine did. Meaning, I couldn't start my truck, at all, unless I pressed the button. So my truck you had to crank the key, then press the button in order to start it. No one could figure out how to start it. It was really nice, because that sensor was a pretty expensive one, so we never replaced it.
cuz other's don't know its a push button start. only cost me $8 to do, and it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling that when the teenage ******* running to jump into my truck at the dealership or valet to bring it to me can't figure out how to turn it on. that way i don't have to run behind him to keep him from driving it...
yea cause someone could do some SERIOUS damge driving your truck 500 feet from one side of a parking lot to another. you think hes gonna do figure 8 burnouts while you watch him bring it over to you...hahha.
