Got my Coopers $800 out the door, without any credit for current tires. Don't know why you want the 305's, especially since (to me) the coopers suck on ice. I'd stick with the 275 and save a few hundred.

+1 to that...my Toyo Open Country AT's didn't do too hot on the ice, or that fine powdery wet stuff that coats the roads and makes 'em slick as heck.

From what I've heard, I think either will suit you just fine. As dog mentioned, you might be able to save a few $$ by not going too oversized.

I put the cooper's on a couple of weeks ago about 2000 miles. I love them. I got them off of ebay from discount tire direct for 642 and paid tire kingdom 40 to mount ballance and new valve stem them. They are the stock size 275 60 20 I do wish they made a 275 65 20. Nitto used to make it for their terra grappler that would add an inch to the height. I would go with the coopers though. the 305's will wear faster use more fuel and give you more of a chance of rubbing during certain driving conditions.

They are both solid tires. You can't really go wrong with either of them.
