Comp 260 has some decent gains, nice torque and can be tamed with a superchips.

KRC 210 has some better gains and a good deal more torque, but expect some misfire CELs with the superchips. A custom tuned SCT or Diablo would handle it nicely...

...a 6.1 cam is pretty mild and you can use a superchips and a psc1 to 'custom' tune it..

See that, I learned something too. I didn't know that you could run a 260 with just a superchips. I thought you needed a custom tune to run that cam.

with a 260 cam on a 4.7 ( can you even do that) would a SC be enough?

No, a hemi cam will not work in a 4.7, as a matter of fact you have two cams!

So guess what? You get to pay double what we do.

KRC Performance has a couple, but I think all require a PCM flash to tame. The new 212x's are putting up tremendous numbers from what I've seen, but require bigger throttle body, & headers.
Gears and a stouter torque converter are also recommended...

yeah the Comp 260 is fairly plug and play. Springs and retainers recommended, many have not even done them and have had no problems.
Some people report an occasional misfire CEL, but it's very occasional. Superchips will write a slight modification into your tune and make it available as a download to adjust your A/F to even get rid of that if it's an issue. So yeah, basically very streetable with only an SC3815...

Man......, info like this really tempts me to put in a cam sooner than later. Not having to buy a custom tune and new tuner makes getting a cam a real possibility for me sooner than I thought.
