OK, thanks. My friend traded in his truck and forgot to reprogram it before trading it in (dumb, I know) and now needs to get the programmer fixed for his new truck.

+1 (man, I hate agreeing with 'bolt ON ANYTHING ) but if it's a Flashpaq, or any unit that is internet upgradeable, there is no need to return it. Can be done on your PC (once you've paid them, of course)...

Thats cool. The guy said shipping was involved, But, I just wanted to know they could do it when I called, So its very probable as I specifically asked "Can I send it in so you can unlock it?".
Hopefully I am right though and just got a Amazingly Killer deal on a Superchips tuner without it coming to that.

Traker:
Just FYI. I'm sure you know this already but SC does not support warranty claims for devices bought used. We will unlock it for you, but you take the risk that the unit actually works and has not been mistreated in any way.

I hope you enjoy it.

As is with anything used. I am willing to take that chance, The new price just to high for my budget.

If it's a 3815, you can order the unlock via customer service. Once you pay, they'll set you up for a one time unlock via the SuperchipsEasyUpdate program and you're golden.

Well guys, I got it today. I am so happy, It was reset to stock. I loaded up the 87 tune and noticed a bit of a difference. Firmer shifts and all around stronger feeling ride. I haven't tried any of the other things yet, Although I will probably play with the advanced data logging feature and the 91 tune on the next fill up.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. Post up the results after you do some data logging like 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs.
