Default Need help with tires!

I have a 2007 1500 quad 2wd and I was wondering if I could fit 35" tires with the stock 20's. Also what kind of lift would I need if they don't and what's it gonna cost.

Thank You

they will fit on a 4wd couple of members have put them on. The 2wd it will not, not enough clearance. You would need a 2.5'' level kit up front, and a 2'' add-a leaf out back. That will put you at about the height of a 4wd just a little shorter

Im not sure if he would need the 2" add a leaf in the back i have an 03 1500 2wd and i have plenty of room for tires back there. I could be wrong though. as for up front yes you will deffinitely need the leveling kit . The leveling kit shouldnt run you more then 200$ even for the top brands with steel spacers. Pretty sure you can find a spacer kit for under 100$ made of high quality plastic which may sound cheap but i've never heard of anyone have a probem with them and they're easy to install so you could probably do it yourself.

OK, so do they work? I have a 2002 2WD with a 2.5'' level kit up front. No lift on the back. Looking at 325/60R20 35" tires on the stock 20" rims. There are not many places that I do a U turn for a full turn of the wheel. This is the size the NTB manager suggested.

Umm those should work still the chance of rubbing . Thats almost a 13 inch wide tire. Maybe some spacers for your rims would be a good investment.

I dont think you need a lift for the back so you wouldnt need an add a leaf. If you however choose to buy some im sure the 4wd add a leaf would fit your truck. check fatbobsgarage.com or something. You will need a 2-2.5 inch lift up front which you could either find on e-bay or probably on www.fatbobsgarage.com as well

no usually you cant. Heres one for you its only 2 inches but its something to start
http://roughcountry.com/dodge_2wd_02-05_2.html
also if you talk to your local off road shop they should have lots of options for you
i know daystar makes a 2.5inch leveling kit for the 02-05 rams im buying one soon myself actually. so many go in and talk to someone im sure they can help
http://www.daystarweb.com/productdet...p?productID=11 that kit also works for your truck it just so happens that there site is wrong so it says it doesnt but the guy at the 4wd shop i go to called them and it does now fit our trucks too so maybe look into those options.

No, a 4x4 of your year uses torsion bars up front, the level kits for them would consist of leveling keys. You have coils and therefore would need a set of coil spacers. Commonly found, try 4 Wheel Parts, Moes Performance, Performance Lifts, etc.

If you are going to do 35's, you are going to have an issue with rubbing and scrubbing with just the level kit, especially with a stock tire with next to no backspacing.

My suggestion is to level it and go with 33s or to level it, throw on a 3" body lift, and do your 35s...
