Default infinity subwoofer/amp with the single cd player question

I have a 2007 dodge ram QC with the single CD headunit. A friend of mine just bought an 06 SRT-10 but replaced the factory infinity subwoofer with a customer setup. He just gave me the subwoofer/amp setup that goes underneath my seat. My question is: what else do I need to hook up the subwoofer to my headunit? There is a plug that comes out of the side of the subwoofer but that is all I see. Do I just need the infinity harness or am I going to need a lot more? Thanks for the help! I have attached a picture of what I got.

i think that to hook up any aftermarket subwoofer and amp, you are going to need some sort of adapter. i think it was like $25 on ebay and maybe some extra wiring. i dont think that the factory subs cant be too much different

I have no idea how the Infinity (or any other brand for that matter) is normally hooked up. However, check the following link for installation instruction of the Kicker sub/amplifier combo. Maybe that will give you some ideas how to hook your combo up.

Hope it helps

if you have an aftermarket head unit that is already hooked up, then all you should need is the cables to connect the sub to the back of the headunit. The infinity system amp and the subwoofer amp can be independent if your headunit has a sub output. what model stereo do you have?

If you have a factory head unit single CD, I would see if any of the Infinity wiring is suitable for your use as it will have power supply, ground and speaker outputs. I just don't know if it's capable of plugnplay without the stock Infinity system???

I guess that would be my next question then: Anybody have a picture of the back of the 6 disc infinity system to see if there are any additional plugs?

Also, the amp is built in to the subwoofer enclosure and there is a female plug that comes out the side. So, there has to be some sort of wiring harness (small one) that connects to this and then travels underneath the carpet to the headunit. Anyone know what that is or have a part number? Thanks for your help!

Has anyone found out if there is a wiring/plug for this that will be able to adapt to an Aftermarket Stereo. Have a 2006 Ram QC and have the passenger rear seat sub, but have no way of knowing if it can be connected to the AM stereo and if so what wiring is needed!!! Please help!

***edit: I purchased the under seat sub, it is from a 2013 Ram QC
