Default 3.7 intake upgrade

Hey guys...i'm pretty new to the forums but i have some info for you on a decent intake upgrade. i installed an Airaid quick fit system and found it to work very nicely but was disgusted with the resonator box killing the sound and the flow. so i sat down with one of the other guys here at the parts department at the chrysler dealer that i work at and discovered that an intake tube from a 2004 3.7 Jeep Liberty would work on my 2002 3.7 Ram 1500. i had to reroute the pcv hose but other than that it was a perfect fit...i'll post pics when i get some.....it made a hellacious difference in sound and power.

The part number is 53013724AA and goes for about $30....because of the pcv hose going to the resonator...if you dont have the airaid quick fit you'll have to fab something up...i used some heater hose that was laying around. it is an extremely tight fit on the airbox but will fit quite nicely once clamped. i should have some pics on here sometime this weekend.

You can get the Airaid kit from just about any aftermarket supplier that deals in intake systems. As far as the tube goes...the dealership is your only option unless you can go somewhere like home depot and find some pvc pipes that you could piece together and make it work.

Ok I didn't know if there was a place online that sells OEM parts...I just hate dealing with any dealership done here.

I tried searching by that part number and I did not find anything. I even searched by Liberty Intake and nothing either. Well I got some but not at $30 and were not OEM.
