Has anyone tried the Mileage XS tune on a long highway trip? If so did you get an improvement? I keep wanting to try it to see what kind of a difference it makes but I never remember until it is too late.

that's the question I'm trying to answer. I don't think i've heard a definite account from anyone on here, so I think it's worth the time for me to try it out. I run through ~30 gallons of gas a week, so shouldn't take me long to have some results.

Now don't expect a 'i got .478 mpg better' or anything. I go by the overhead, and it may not be perfect, but mine is pretty good (within .5 mpg usually), and it's consistent. So I'll know if it gives me anything over 1 mpg.

Me neither, that is why I want to hear some first person accounts of how well the Mileage XS program works. I probably should have put it on my truck since I just got it back from inspection and had to reprogram it, but I just can't get away from the 91 tune. Just like the performance too much

F*ck that Mileage XS crap!, and the hell with that MDS sh*t while we're at it! It's a damn truck! Anybody runs that or the 87 Tune, on a 4x4 pickup truck, needs to assess his manhood more than just a little bit!!!

hold on there hoss. your truck ain't your daily driver, and i think i already got some lash issues with the rear end. i cant afford to go running around with my foot to the floor in performance tune, not at all because of the money, but because if i blow a diff or **** her off real good i'm out transportation.

now i'm not using the mileage xs cuz i want more mileage, i'm using it cuz i want to know if it actually works, to feed my curiosity. personally i think it's a load of horse ****, and it won't do a damn thing, but we'll see.

and if you read my posts in the SC VS DSP thread, i didn't buy it for the power, i bought it for TQ management, and i'm just waiting for that to come out (whenever that happens). till then im just gonna mess around with different tunes and see how much of what SC advertises is crap.
