Need Expert Audio Help
i was looking around to add some subs and the prices were a little too high for me. i saw this used system for sale and found out it would fit behind my seat just barely.
the dimensions are 30 1/2 " L x 10 1/2" D x 15 1/4" H and i have a reg cab

what do you guys think about it. the lowest the person will go is $250 and they said thats a really good deal. im not so sure about buying used subs but the person assured me that they was taken good care of. they seem to be really good but i am not sure they are worth it. what do you think the price should be on them?
also, is it okay if i could just hook them up to my factory stereo? how good would they sound?
i dont want to really order something online. id rather have it close to home where i can see it personally. i dont want to go the local audio shops either because they charge some high prices. do you think its worth to buy used systems if i can get them for less than half the price?

I do not have the speaker specifications available, but my gut feeling is that the box could be tad small for two 12" sub-woofers to work well (seems that even 10" subs do require 1 cu.ft. each). If he is willing to go from $400 to $250 in "instant", hmmmmm, nearly 50% off the price - why he needs to get rid of it?

if the cone is still firm, and the seal around the cone does not have holes around the rim, then it might be a safe buy. However, there might be an issue with the amp he isn't telling you about.
Those speakers can take a lot of abuse with out a lot of detrimental effects.
1+ on the box being a little small for those speakers. It doesn't really matter though, because unless you plan on just sitting the box on your back seats you are going to change it anyways.

i had a buddy with those same speakers, i beleive been awhile since he had them, but if they are the same there almost impossible to blow. there buy one get on from Circut City at the time and we had warranty, so the first day we were trying to blow them and with no luck after a couple good runs lol, i forget the exact setup he had with them but he kept them until he totaled his car. Iv personally always like the infinity subs. but im not expert lol
