Default "03 Tires

Wanted some advice, I have an "03 ThunderRoad Edition Ram 1500 with image group. came stock with 275/55/20 goodyears. when I got the truck the tires had been changed to 275/60/20 goodyear wrangler hp's. Was considering a wider tire? Any ideas and pictures to view? ps: The wrangler hp's are terrible handling/traction tire. I noticed alot of people talking about the 305/50/20's but was conserned the diameter would look to small? Hard to decide since I havnt actually seen these on a truck yet. Any suggestions would be helpful.

nice rig, do those thunderroads come with a upgraded dual exhast?

if you want to keep the 275 60 20's on there then maybe you should think about the cooper zeons. although if you have more of a pavement queen per say then you might want more of a street tire, ive heard good things about the bridgestone alenza h/ls.

i like that truck. you should get some black 22's to go with it and maybe level the back
i like the looks of the wider tire since i have 305/40-22 but the only problem is that because of the width and i dont have mudflaps, it kicks up all sorts of stuff onto the side of the bed.

You'll want to use a programmer to correct the speedo but it isn't much of a difference. The smaller tire diameter gives you better effective gearing too, making 3.92's closer to 4.00's.

305/50R20's (which is what I have, see below) are pretty much the same height as the 275/55R20's (31.9" vs 32" which is why I chose them).
