Purchased Hemi Ram from bank did not have remote key, bought uncut key from ebay with lock unlock and took to locksmith who cut key and activated small remote, security light (theft) not flashing, does it need to be a key with chip or remote from dealer, there is an owners manual for the security system in the glovebox.

 

If it works your key and fob are fine. You just need to take it to the dealership to get the security flash turned on or off, Or read the manual, The programming instructions are in the manual.
