2006 RAM 2500 air draft
if u decided to do it your self you don't need much for tools. a small socket set and a couple of #2 phillips screw drivers. if needed i could give a more step by step to get the dash and dash frame out.
yes please on the step by step if you can.
i hate this problem on my truck! i can always smell the outside air, cold draft inside the cab, loud air blowing noise when its set on high, but very weak coming out of vents.

another thing u could try. leave the pillow in and take the blower motor out to take the door out then put the blower motor back in. That door is more than likey laying above the blower. on mine i was able to take the motor out and remove the door but to fix the problem correct you need to replace the assembly. that should hopefully give you more heat
My 06 was (is) making a whistling noise from around the passenger area. It seems to be coming from behind the glovebox. We took the truck out today and noticed that the even when adjusting the blower motor speed, the airflow was nil. The motor changed speeds just little to no difference in air flow out the dash...same issue as above? Or is it the blend door? melhoff13 my wife was in the same boat tonight. A wife with cold legs is not a happy camper... Suggestions?
This may help. Looks like it's a TSB (from 2003) issue:
