Broken hood latch cable
I have a problem here with my '03 2500
my hood latch cable broke and my battery is dead
i've tried stripping the the layer of plastic off the cable and pulling it with pliers but that didn't work for me.
does anyone else have any suggestions to get the hood open so i can boost the battery?

i know in my truck, there is plenty of room between the front bumper and the radiator. you can probably crawl underneath the front end, and release it right from the latch from behind the bumper.

Yeah, I can almost sit up in there when I take my oil filter off.
